Sluggy Costumes

Other Characters By You

From LynDate:
for the dreamfighter oasis costume, you could also use a pair of white ballet shoes (just the regular flat slippers), painted blue in the right spots.

From MaGnUs:
Very cool ideas, but I find you lack guidelines for a Bert costume. It would be very easy to make:
* Black beret or similar hat
* Black turtleneck
* Jean pants (I think that's what he wears)
* Fake white beard
* Talcum powder or white wig.
* A crotch sculpture.

From Luke Alowishish:
Kool-aid makes a cheep and temporary hair dye...and it works real well...

From Greggggg Christopher:
I think you should add the following to snake demon:

Materials:
x-acto knife
shoe goo (a type of flexible glue) or silicone cement (buy cheaply at a hobby or craft store or expensively at an pet shop)
coat hanger

1. straighten the coat hanger
2. make a deep slit in each of the bellies of the snakes.
3. put the coat hanger inside the snake
4. glue the snake shut with the goo or silicone

Now your snakes can be positioned!

From Tim Emrick:
See pic in the gallery!

HeretiCorp cap (from Tom Ricket shirts, $16)
black coveralls (~$15[?] from Army-Navy store)
silver duct tape and black electrical tape
water pistol

I made two copies of the hC logo from duct tape (using the cap's logo as a model), and attached them to the shoulders. The silver tape I used had a paper peel-off backing, which meant that I could cut a 3" or so piece for the outer "C", attach pieces of black tape for detailing, then attach the whole logo to the costume when I was happy with the result.

This was my "Plan B" costume when I ran out of time to build the much more elaborate costume I wanted to make (Jango Fett). I already had the cap (couldn't resist picking that up!), and bought the black coveralls while shopping for lighter ones for Fett, so only needed to spend about 1/2 hour making the logos.
